Randy and Paul,

Have you ever considered allowing inventories for parts in the Sticker over Assembly
category? Some of these titles are ridiculous and the only reason they have
to be like that is because someone long ago decided that these parts shouldn't
have inventories.

Part No: BA067pb01 Name: Stickered Assembly 4 x 2 x 1 with Classic Fire Logo Pattern on Both Sides (Stickers) - Set 590 & 374-1 - 1 Plate 1 x 4, 2 Plate 1 x 1, 1 Plate 2 x 2, 1 Plate, Modified 1 x 4 with Tow Ball Socket, Long, 2 Slots

Parts: Stickered Assembly

There's only a single good reason that I know of not to inventory the parts:
because individual stickers don't have catalog entries and thus cannot be
included in the inventories.

I wonder if that's reason enough, though. I'm thinking it's not.
Am I missing another reason not to inventory them?

What do you (and anyone else) think?

Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 76103 Name: Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack
*
76103-1 (Inv) Corvus Glaive Thresher Attack
391 Parts, 5 Minifigures, 2018
Sets: Super Heroes: Avengers Infinity War

* Add 1 Part 3010 Black Brick 1 x 4 (Counterpart)

Comments from Submitter:
Brick 1 x 4 with White upside down Triangle Pattern (Sticker) - Set 76103. Sticker #2

First you need to add the part with a sticker to the catalog. You may do that
here:

https://www.bricklink.com/wantedCatalog.asp

Then you need to add an image. You may do that here:

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogImageAdd.page

Once the new part has been approved, then you can submit an inventory change
request to add it to the set's inventory.

So the two do look like trans-light blue in the pic, but look darker in real

And they as ll came from the titan mech set.

They are actually supposed to be marbled pieces where the Pearl Dark Gray is
blended with the Trans-Light Blue in the blade. This is most likely what is making
the Trans-Light Blue ones look darker. And you're kind of lucky since many
of them have hardly any Trans-Light Blue in them. However, this is not the first
time I have seen the other ones. I have a feeling that someone at the factory
messed up and ordered a batch of the parts be made with either Trans-Black or
Trans-Clear at one time.

Here is my "pending-being-an-admin-again" opinion on this: I would seriously
suggest creating a new catalog entry for these and adding them as an alternate
to the set, even though the piece was never intended to be made or make it into
official sets. The pieces obviously exist, so we should account for that.

Cheers,
Randy

It looks like they are correcting an error. Box images and the part list showed
a blue one and we initially used the blue render made by Lego, but people kept
finding them to be barely blue if at all, so we switched pics. I guess Lego
figured out how to get the right ones out there.

Thanks for the reply! Though adding a catalog entry and an alternate to a set
is something I've never done before, not sure how to go about it.
