Yes, it is very hard for some stores, like for most stores in Canada, to add
Instant check-out. This is because the shipping via CanadaPost (and ChitChats)
depends on the weight, on the dimension, on the country and even on the postal
code.

You can check the stores' terms to check the shipping costs.
Some stores, like mine have "request quote" enabled?

If the store has a lightning bolt next to their name, that means they offer Instant
Checkout, which will most likely show you the shipping price. The other stores
will most likely tell you what they charge in their store terms.

Narrow your search to only stores that offer instant checkout.

I'm not clear what you're suggesting here? I have my WL's broken
down by projects, and when I shop, I pull up the WL's that I'm working
on. Then on the "Buy Wanted Lists" page, I check or uncheck the other lists when
I need to meet minimums or want to offset S&H.

This is a form of prioritizing?

Another form: in the Wanted Items tab, you can click on the little lock icon
on each part to make it a required part and only show the stores that have it.

  […]
Asked for many times. I have been told these settings exist, but I either haven't
found them (even when given directions) or they're reset after the page refreshes.

A lot of things are refreshed spuriously.
Like “keep me logged in”….

  […]
The fact that system goes down, every day, strongly suggests
the severs are not redundant, or if they are,
are not properly configured.

A number of things are computed off-line during the downtime.
It’s more a problem of code written when it was very costly and not useful to
do them on the fly than non-redundant servers (which there weren’t anyway, I
think).

  […]
Also, having an action extend across multiple pages, that aren't in view,
could have serious unintended consequences, I'm not sure I agree on that
point.

+1

Okay, I need to research "mosaic". I've seen the term in a few places, but
have no context of what that actually looks like.

OP actually meant “grid view.”

A mosaic is an ancient pixelated stone or faience artwork.

By extension 1 (maybe only in French?): the blurred zone in an image or film
by over-pixelization (generally faces or naughty bits).

By extension 2: an image made of other images.

By abuse (in France French): a special channel where all the channels are shown
in a grid of thumbnails.

  Hi,

As a BrickLink buyer, I would like to make some suggestions to improve the GUI:

1. It would be great to be able to search for parts in all my orders.

+1

2. In the orders, I would like to keep the ID# of each part. Currently,
only the name of the part is kept.

+1

3. I would like to "prioritize" my Wanted Lists, maybe in two categories
to keep it simple: "priority" and "non priority". Thus, when I shop, I can focus
on the "priority" lists to buy their missing parts, and then potentially add
additional parts to already ordered parts if common with "non priority" lists
(that's what I do manually, currently).

4. In a Wanted List, in the search options, I would like to be able to save
my usual search parameters
, i.e. :
- 100 items per page
- "Hide Items if Have Qty is ≥ Want Qty"
Currently, I have to painfully redo this each and every time I browse my Wanted
Lists.

Asked for many times. I have been told these settings exist, but I either haven't
found them (even when given directions) or they're reset after the page refreshes.

5. 100 items per page is not enough. 1,000 would be cool, so that there
is a good chance to see all parts in one page (in a Wanted List, in a shop, etc.)

1,000 is a huge number. I agree 100 can be a small number, I typically like 200.
Given the site's resources, 100 is a fair compromise to work with and doesn't
slow the system down any further.

There is a LOT of data being processed on the servers, and sent to your browser.
I am not sure how many servers are availalble to process all this information,
but I do know they are stressed every now and then. I have seen this, however,
as a buyer, it is a minor inconvenience and almost goes unnoticed most of the
time; truthfully, I am more upset and concerned when the system goes into maintenance
mode every night (which is when I am up and working). The fact that system goes
down, every day, strongly suggests the severs are not redundant, or if they are,
are not properly configured.

6. In a shop, when you look at a part, BrickLink indicates just below
in a grey line some useful information:
- In which Wanted List this part can be found
- The total wanted and have quantities
a) It would be great to have also an indication of the quantity currently
in orders not yet received
.
b) It would be great also to be able to click on or fly over "In XX Wanted Lists"
to see the actual names of the corresponding Wanted Lists.

+1

7. a) In a shop, it would be cool to have a "Max" button on the right
hand side of the "Add to cart QTY" field, to directly fill the field with
the max quantity available in the shop
. I know there is the "Min/Max" feature
at the top of the page, but they apply to all fields in the page, not part by
part.

+1

  b) By the way, it will not apply to other pages of the search, which is a pitty,
because we need to move from page to page in the search to do the operation as
many times as there are pages.

This is where having 1,000 lines might be useful, but I still worry about the
system impact?

Also, having an action extend across multiple pages, that aren't in view,
could have serious unintended consequences, I'm not sure I agree on that
point.

8. + and - buttons are way too small in the QTY fields. They are also
too close one from each other, so you can easily erroneously click on the wrong
one. Maybe if possible, make the buttons bigger, and put one on the right of
the cell, and one on the left
, for instance. (emp. added)

+100%

9. Tab key should go to the next identical field in the page. For instance,
if my cursor is in the HAVE QTY field of a part, typing Tab should send me to
the HAVE QTY field of the next part in the list.

Would be nice and intuitive, but this is a decision that was made by M$ decades
ago and has become the de facto standard. While it can be coded by the developer,
the confusion it would create, would be counter-productive.

10. In the Wanted Lists, I would like to be able to "lock" the "Want" fields,
so that I cannot erroneously modify them while I modify the "Have" field just
below. Maybe a simple tickbox in the preferences of the Wanted List to protect
this field would be great.

I think the larger and saddled +/- buttons would solve this issue.

11. It would be great to be able to present the parts in a "mosaic" view,
like what ReBrickable does. This would be convenient to print in a condense way
the list of parts we are looking for, and maybe keep it with us while going to
the Pick-a-Brick Wall in a Lego shop, for instance.

Okay, I need to research "mosaic". I've seen the term in a few places, but
have no context of what that actually looks like.

12. Export functions could be improved:
a) put the full name of the parts with its color name in REMARK XML field, for
instance

+1

  b) allow to export all or a selection of Wanted Lists at once, adding the names
of Wanted Lists in the REMARK XML field, for instance.

+1

  c) add export functions to orders

This already exists, however I'd like to see a format added that Brickstock
could import directly, without having to use three different sites to get there.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Kind regards,
Jonathan

That's my 2 cents,
James

  Hi,

I'm using BrickLink as a Lego builder, buying regularly missing parts to
complete two dozens of sets in the form of Wanted Lists.

A great improvement to the tools provided by BrickLink web site would be to be
able to match ordered parts with my Wanted Lists.

This feature already exists, though it's not very efficient or intuitive.

For instance, we could imagine to list below each ordered part in an order the
same part wanted in all my Wanted Lists, with integer fields (with +/- buttons)
to allocated the ordered parts to the Wanted Lists.

On the "Orders Placed" page, there is an icon of a scroll, "Items in Order in
Wanted List". When you click that button, it starts a very convoluted process
that allows you to see what WL's those parts are in, then you can go to each
list and apply those parts to the WL.

Be careful, though, if you lose track of your progress, you can post duplicate
entries and it will severely mess up your WL accounting (it can be manually reversed
with effort). You can specify a quantity, but there are no tallies to track what
WL's have been "updated" or the quantities allocated.

Thus, once I've allocated ordered parts to my Wanted Lists, I will be able
to shop again without buying parts already ordered.

When you are shopping, there are fields that shows the quantity wanted and a
number "Have", which the "Buy Wanted Lists" page uses. The application subtracts
"Have" from "Wanted" and only looks for the resulting quantity.

If you open up the left hand pane to "Wanted Items" and expand the appropriate
WL, there is a field under each item that shows how many the system is looking
for, and then if you select a store, that field will reflect how many are wanted
and how many that particular store has of that item.

As you move stores to the "Selected Stores" list, the fields are updated.

In addition, it could be even greater to make a distinction between ordered
parts allocated to Wanted Lists (not yet received) from actually received parts
.
It means that for a part added to "Have" in a Wanted List, we could add a status
"ordered" or "received".

This would be a nice feature to have while posting ordered parts to your WL's.
A third field could be added called "On Order", and could be controlled by the
order status?

What do you think?

I use the feature as it exists, and have flubbed it a couple of times, but it
is helpful. I believe, though, that the whole process needs competent review
and a complete re-coding to make it less onerous and more usable.

Thanks,
Jonathan.

  Hi there,

It would be really good if in the sellers store shipping settings page we could
add in a automated message. For example I have a shipping option which is 'I'm
still shopping' it would be good if when someone selected this option it
automatically sent them a message like 'thanks for your order, please message
us withing 7 days to say you have completed your order so we may invoice you'.
It would save a lot of time from having to write them out for each individual
order. Even better would be if this whole shipping option was avaliable for all
sellers to select and turn on instead of making a shipping option and having
to put in prices (in which mine is 0 until the order is done then worked out
manually).

I think if you add a instant checkout shipping method without instant payment
a customized invoice can be send by using the HTML tags.

Is it possible to have a feature added to a sellers inventory in which everything

percent but not all items in that catagory will have gone up or down the same
amount so being able to put everything to this average pricing would be handy.

Some sellers use the Brickstock program for it.

Hello there. Could be possible please, to add the Costa Rican Colón (CRC) among
the other supported currencies in Bricklink? It can be helpful when pricing the
shipping cost is not compatible with the USD since the fees given by the local
post service are in CRC and thus this wouldn't make possible to create an
onsite payment. Thank you very much.

The sellers I've dealt with have all been great (even with a language barrier)
but as a purchaser moving forward, I think it would make sense to see feedback
based on geographic location.

For example, if I'm a US buyer and I want to make a purchase from a store,
I've been finding that I go to the feedback, click on the person who left
the feedback and see where they are located. Doing that is entirely manual and
cumbersome. It would be so much easier to filter the feedback from a specific
location and I can see the most recent orders and feedback from that person by
on location. If they have plenty of US buyers, I can make an educated decision
about parcels still being shipped and reliability of those orders making it to
their destination.

Maybe others won't find that helpful, but as someone from the US that has
not received 5 of their orders, seems like a great way to find feedback from
others in my same area to make me feel more confident in buying from overseas
sellers.

Even after COVID - I think that feature makes a lot of sense.

You can turn on 'Show Country Flags in Feedback Profiles' here:

Or you could ask at the shop if shipping to your place is possible before making
the order .
I asked my buyers via splash page, to check in before they actually order, so
I can give them info about the current situation, as countries on the "stop list"
change sometimes daily.
First I tried to keep up typing the new information daily into my shipping terms,
but after a while there were so much, that it wasnt possible for me to keep up.
Sometimes even only some provinces/postcodes in a certain country aso. SO I
only checked on request.

Sure there is the possibility, that todays info is "country is accepted" and
even with ordering, invoice and payment the same day - next day at the post office
it has changed, but for me it happened only once.
Seeing the geographic info of buyers gives you only a picture of the past. In
fast changing times like this, I believe direct information from the shop is
the most accurate option.
NEvertheless I do see the positive side of geographical information in general,
but not as a solution to CoVid Issues.

stay safe and in good health,
Bellafux

on location.

This may not have been an issue previously, but due to COVID-19, I am weary of
buying from international sellers as a result of reduced flights to and from
certain countries. I say that because through no fault of the seller, 5 of my
orders have been delayed by 2 months now. I still have no idea when / if I will
receive them.

Just noticed this thread has had its status changed to “already exists”, but
as I pointed out it doesn’t.
There is no way to search for ALL items without catalogue dimensions.
Russell’s solution only works if the item is set as volume dependant in the catalogue,
which many bulky items which can’t be sent at letter rates (at least in my country)
aren’t.
We need a function to search for ALL items in our inventory without dimensions,
not just volume dependant ones which is what suggested solution does.

I'm getting tired of bulky items sneaking through Instant checkout at letter
rates because they're missing catalog dimensions, and I have no way of finding
which items need me to manually enter their dimensions.

You are going to have to set instructions' dimensions for yourself at this
time. I'll be adding or correcting those I have in the near future, as time
allows.

Some are the box width and lentgh set to a standard 1cm thickness, as in your
example for set 76139

Almost all are set to 10 mm thick as standard, unless changed already:
https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1063022

See these threads on how to bulk change them manually in your store:
https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=262173&nID=1173595
https://www.bricklink.com/messageThread.asp?ID=262161&nID=1173531

In Suggestions, SchmickBricks writes:
That will only pickup items that are set to volume dependent without dimensions,
not items that are set as weight dependent by default.

Also while I have your attention Russell, about 90% of the instruction books
in the catalog have the wrong dimensions. They're often listed as almost
double their actual size which often trips up IC.... Because I don't have
a shipping method for a 600mm long instruction book which is actually less than
300mm!

By default now I add my own dimensions when parting, but it's a trap for
anyone unaware of the issue.

Are these dimensions auto generated somehow? The issue seems to apply to almost
100% of new sets being added to the catalog. Checkout the listed dimensions
of the 1989 Batmobile instructions (76139) to see what I mean. - Actual size
is 270x195x15mm, but they're listed as being 581x374x10mm. It's a significant
difference, and causes all sorts of issues with instant checkout.

The solution is already there for you. Be sure you have dimensions / weight turned
on for your store and then select the "Instant Checkout Unavailable" box in the
Show More Options section in your store inventory.

should be a way to create a folder within a folder which would further categorize
items and make it much easier to organize and buy.

I would also like to see:

- The ability to move entire folders instead of their contents

- The ability to rename the default wanted list and give it a more appropriate
name for whatever's inside (It's empty for me and is a waste of space
as a result)

Why not continue it to be more layered and intuitive? Not that it isn't already,
I especially love the "Buy All" feature which saves me from an otherwise insufferable
hunt for stores that fulfill my list. These are just things I think would help
make it even more user-friendly.

You can group by remarks, set to 100 per pg, then Ctrl+F to locate a specific
group.

I too would like folders within folders, the forum to have collapsible threads,
and every browser to include tab containers, but probably not gonna happen.

Condition - Category - Item Number - Color Name

Do most sellers sort by category than number? It seems like that makes most
sense. It would be nice then, if orders could be sorted that same way.

Thanks

Sorting by item number is a difficult issue with this site. They are a combination
of letters and numbers and won't give you consistent results.

Doesn't work for large wanted lists? Most of mine are over 100 items.

I prefer the simplicity of BL's forum over those used on other websites.
Having an edit feature isn't worth the switch to a different application.

That describes the definition of "extra parts" for purposes of the inventory
pages.
Bricklink has a different definition of "extra parts" for purposes of defining
a complete used set.

For me the important thing is to have all the parts I need to build a set.

The extra parts section shows parts included in the box that are not on the "official"
parts list (if there is one). Additionally, any parts that came attached on a
sprue or in standard, bagged "sets" (like small tools and accessories) will
be in the regular section of the inventory even if one or more of the attached
or bagged parts are not needed to build the set.

There is no indication in Bricklink inventories of which parts are needed to
build a set according to the instructions. Sometimes the section of regular items
happens to include just those parts, but it is by coincidence and not by design.

Might be useful to identify the lists that has parts need to build the set and
the parts that were in the set when issued. Is the extra part section at the

If you are comparing Bricklink inventories to a list of parts needed to build
the set, they will not always match.

Bricklink inventories do not document the parts needed to build the set. They
document the contents of the box.

If you let kids upload their digital work in the gallery¹, it will soon be even
messier than it is (or than it was at the beginning or the LDD gallery or any
gallery kids can upload their 3-stacked-bricks creations (yes, that’s condescending
but let’s face it, most kids aren’t Mozart)).

¹ If you want to share a WL, you might want to add a picture of the model with
it, and that’s exactly the same thing as uploading to the gallery.

Besides, what’s the purpose of a WL if it’s not to buy it?
So, your kid uploads a WL (or a MOC) on their teen-account, and you download
/ transfer / share it so that you can buy it from your account.
It’s quicker to let them directly upload a WL in your BL account from Studio.
If they are savvy enough to manage what is proposed, they can understand not
to touch your WLs and to name theirs intelligently.

(Studio can upload a WL directly to your BL account in one click.
What it can’t do is make a XML file of the WL so that you wouldn’t need to let
your kid have your BL credentials. It can do a useless CSV though….)

Yes, Studio needs to be logged in to Bricklink to do this. Some features are
only available when logged in (Sculpture, Upload WL, Upload MOC). If the child
is using Studio, it is effectively using Bricklink as a junior, which is not
allowed according to the TOS. I conclude that junior accounts are an essential
development if BL wants Studio to be used by youngsters as well.

  Hi,

According to BL's TOS you must be of legal age or 18 at least to register.
That is completely understandable from the buying/selling point of view.

But what about a junior account without the privileges to buy or sell?
Kids could browse the catalog, make wanted lists - maybe "publish" them or somehow
share them with "proper" users (e.g. parents) and get used to the platform.

This would lead younger users to BL without being "illegal" and without the chance
to make "bogus" orders or other interference with the "business" on this site.

Just an idea as my daughter is building a lot of stuff in Studio and would like
to create her own wanted lists in BL and is generally interested in this site.

Jan

It is wonderful that your daughter has a growing lego hobby and that she is interested
in Bricklink. Instead of her having her own account, you can help her with wanted
lists and purchases through your account. Sharing your lego hobbies is great
to bond with your child, and you will enjoy being a super cool parent.

the set, they will not always match.

Bricklink inventories do not document the parts needed to build the set. They
document the contents of the box.

Yes, parts lists in set instructions and printed on set boxes are known to sometimes
include errors. I'm more interested in how BrickLink inventories almost
always steer you wrong. Please provide some examples of this and be specific
about how our inventories are inaccurate.

And no, you've not offended me and I doubt you've offended Randy. But

I am definitely not offended. If there are errors, I want to know where they

I kinda like the idea! With well thought out contingencies, that is.

Maybe the account profiles could be denoted as ‘junior’ in some form, with site
limitations attached: contact, the forum and purchases come to mind.

The idea has merit, if worked out properly. After all, it is a toy the site is
centered around. It might question the acronym AFOL as applied here on BL, though.

It’s something to ponder, IMHO.

If you find an error, please let us know, but I think the statement "Using only

By the way, there are many errors in those printed parts lists in the instruction
manuals that have been discovered over time and are fixed in the BrickLink inventories.
So don't assume that those printed parts lists are correct.

I never use the online Lego inventories, in fact I wouldn't know where to
find them. What I do is print or photocopy the pages in the set instructions
and use those as my primary list for parts that should be in a set. I augment
that with Brickset and bricklink lists.
The 3D function on briclink is especially helpful.

Thank you.

I'm really curious which sets you've run into issues with. I've found
that the Bricklink inventories are far more accurate than the actual LEGO inventories.

The issue with official LEGO inventories is that they don't keep track of
part variants at all. In fact, when a part variant goes out of production and
a new one is added, the official inventories are updated to include the new part,
even if that set never could have contained it in the first place (I first ran
across this with the Cafe Corner set). Bricklink keeps track of specific part
and mold differences, for those that want the most accurate information of what
came in a sealed set box.

Unfortunately, LEGO inventories are good for quantity and color, but for the
actual parts that came in a production set, they aren't always accurate.

The United States has very strict laws regarding content that is shared online
with children, this will complicate BL's legal compliance and if those regulations
are broken because a member on the forum posts an inappropriate comment or publishes
a moc that may be considered violent or inappropriate for kids and each offense
of those regulations carries a steep penalty.
This will make Bricklink's overhead costs much higher and drain resources
from the marketplace.
Nice idea but implementing it doesn't seem realistic or beneficial to a marketplace
platform.

Danger, danger.

I voted no when you first posted this (not that the site pays any heed whatsoever
at this point in time to suggestions anyway). It's the LEGO Group's
job to market to and interact with children. It's BrickLink's job to
market to and interact with adults. That age separation has worked fairly well
for the last two decades.

  Kids could browse the catalog

They already can. Anyone can.

make wanted lists - maybe "publish" them or somehow
share them with "proper" users (e.g. parents) and get used to the platform.

And once they get used to the platform, they will see how remarkably easy it
is to set up an account and start buying and selling.

This would lead younger users to BL without being "illegal" and without the chance
to make "bogus" orders or other interference with the "business" on this site.

The primary reason children aren't allowed on here is that they cannot make
legally binding contracts.

The secondary reason is that making the site child-friendly and policing the
interactions between children and strangers on the internet would require more
resources from BrickLink. And seriously, do you really trust BrickLink at this
point to be capable of doing that effectively?

Just an idea as my daughter is building a lot of stuff in Studio and would like
to create her own wanted lists in BL and is generally interested in this site.

There's no reason why she can't use your account to create her wanted
list with your supervision. I really don't think a change from the site
is necessary or desirable on this issue.

Kids on this forum ? Are you crazy ? Unless they have their own forum, no thank
you. I'm sure the admins will love to moderate that.

Agree with no underage kids in the forum (I recall how that has looked in the
past when they sneak in, LOL).

I also agree with this idea, though - to allow people to make a list for use
that they can publish - not sure how it could best be done, but the idea is solid
in how it could help enhance the ability to bring in new users (adults) to buy,
and kids are super savvy at stuff these days and this could really bolster some
new interest.

My two cents.

No, not here. Yes, there may be inaccuracies, but we correct them whenever they're
found.

it would be nice if one could get accurate part lists for all those really old sets that one can find in a friend's great grandfather's attic.

We have 15,503 LEGO sets in the BrickLink database, dating back to 1949. Of
those sets, 97.3% have inventories (or parts lists, if you prefer that terminology).

Out of that remaining 2.7% lacking inventories, roughly one fifth are educational
sets and not likely to be found in anyone's attic. If TLG actually does
have a computerized database of inventories prior to 1990ish, then by all means
let's compare.

But our inventories came from what people actually found in LEGO sets. I've
found numerous instances where TLG's data prior to even 2000 is sorely lacking.

Currently the wanted list "SORT BY" defaults to "Newest."
Could there be a way to remember the last choice?
Or change the default setting for the user?
I prefer to see it in alphabetical order, because it makes it faster to find
what I'm looking for. Currently I have to change it every time, and wait
for the page to reload.

Thanks!

I expect you have heard about the inaccuracies of part lists before.

Since bricklink is now part of Lego, perhaps the bricklink part lists for sets
cold be compared with the Lego lists and corrected as necessary. I expect most
of this could be done with a computer program although it would be nice if one
could get accurate part lists for all those really old sets that one can find
in a friend's great grandfather's attic.

Thank you.

BrickLink has the most accurate LEGO inventories anywhere. They are even more
accurate than what is known by the LEGO Group itself. The inventories are constantly
updated by volunteers as new information is learned.

Cheers,

There is an app online called "Set Finder" (http://www.spoofdata.com/setfinder/?id1=6144805)
which allows the user to enter the part number for several parts then the app
will suggest sets that contain those parts. It is not very user friendly and
part numbers are difficult to determine. The part numbers need to be complete
with colour code (sensible for logically reducing the number of possible sets)
but the numbering systems are not very well explained. In addition there are
different numbers for similar parts e.g. "2 x 4 Brick Red" has at least two different
numbers. I think there is an overlap between parts in older sets that have a
different number than newer sets but it can be quite frustrating.

Perhaps this is a function in bricklink which I have not yet discovered. I rarely
Use "Part Out" so perhaps it is there or if not perhaps that would be a good
place to add the "Set Finder " function.

Thank you.

I concur on all aspects of this thread. The inability to resend an invoice to
a buyer after I have had to file an NPB to get their attention makes resolving
the issue far likelier to result in the order being cancelled and the buyer becoming
banned.

Hi,

today I received payment for two orders in "ready" status. So I went packing
them and after that I drove them to the post office right away. Upon my return
I wanted to set these orders directly to shipped. - Not possible - had to set
them to packed first, save, and then to shipped and save again. Just a minor
issue compared to other ones already mentioned but still annoying.
The orders would have been in "packed" for less than 15 minutes. Why make this
mandantory?

Yeah, no official announcement yet but they are in fact going to allow invoicing
again independent of status.. hopefully very soon.

Sharkette

They're going to make it so that the NPB date is only going to be reset if
the invoice is different from the last one. This will likely be tested by the
order value, so you can still write a reminder invoice with slightly different
text without that resetting the NPB clock, as long as the numbers didn't
change.

Wholeheartedly agreed with OP. Admins, please continue to keep customer service
on BOTH the buyer AND seller side please.

I’d say most of the answers should be in the help pages….
(Brickwilbo points to them when they are. The rest of the time, we copy-paste….)

Agreed.

We should also have one just for XP related topics

I know some people might think this isn't a good suggestion, but if you think
about it, how many of us actually leave a personalized feedback? Whenever I look
at feedback that a seller has given, it's usually all the exact same and
usually goes like, "Wonderful buyer, thank you for using our store". I think
an automated feedback system would be nice, especially for the larger sellers
and buyers.

I am a fairly low volume seller, but all my feedback is custom. We have a "buyer
feedback first" policy, explained in our terms, but for buyers that never leave
feedback at all, we leave them "no known problems" positive at the 3 month mark,
give or take. Every other feedback has been customised. We mention extra positive
things if there's room.

Maybe I am in the tiny minority. But I've been here since the very beginning
and this is how we always have done things, I can't see leaving cookie cutter
feedback.

I voted yes on the suggestion though. I'd want the autofeedback to be at
the 3 or 4 month mark though, so the date range needs to extend out a LONG way.

into custom categories. For example, I'd like to be able to have categories

having to change the order or toggle categories to hide them what I don't
immediately need.

I name my Wantlists for their intended porpose.

I, too, name WL's by project name, and I sometimes have a couple of "prioritized"
lists that hold my filler items (interesting items and impulse buys) and find
that this works very well, especially when I remember to update them with orders
to track what I have and haven't ordered.
