  Hi,
Currently to look for iteams in a whishlist at a seller page one need to look
manually.
It will be great to have a filter showing all the item on a wishlist at a preticler
sellers page.
Best regards,

Just click on the [Want] link when you are within a shop, and it will show all
your wanted lists with the matches. You can toggle each list on/off separately
and see the exact matches the shop has.

Thank you very much, it seems some stores does not suppurt this feature.

Thanks again I see it now, that's great.

all stores do offer this as bricklink offers it not individual stores so every
store on bricklink has it

Would it be easier to just set up shipping to the usa? Years ago we shipped to
a bunch of different countries and just set shipping up for each individually.
This worked fine until about 2020 when packages started stagnating and shipping
prices really started skyrocketing. Became not worth it really quick! Lots of
people have requested ideas to help out but, Bricklink is still light years behind
almost every other online marketplace. I would recommend just figuring out/setting
up shipping to countries that make the most sense to for you to ship to. I have
to believe that anyone in their teens and twenties has no idea what an invoice
is.... Go online, pick the item you want, shows up in your mailbox, that's
it. Just my two cents.

I would like to have an option in the shipping method to only provide the 'Quote'
button.

Reason: I have a shipping method with a name and a description saying that it
should only be used to ask for a quote. Shipping costs are 0 in this shipping
method. But people still press 'Place Order' and then they - esp. from
North America - do not pay because they are not willing to pay high shipping
costs and taxes. I would like to force people to press 'Quote' simply
by having only this button to avoid annoying discussions and cancellation process.

When searching through items on the main database, it would be great to be able
to click on an item photo, then have arrows to navigate to the next item. Currently,
clicking an item photo, then exiting, then clicking the next item photo makes
searching/sifting quite tedious.

For example - I was just searching for Part 4467 b but I 'forgot' to
put in the 'b' so I got nonsense as the search results.

Please set up the search criteria to return parts with letters when the search
term omits the letter.

Just use a * on the end if you want a catchall.

Let's say I have 10 different parts and those 10 different parts, are also
in multiple carts and I want to see which of the selected stores that I have
made carts for have the parts for the cheapest between those couple of stores
that I have made carts for. it would be much easier to just click a button and
get bricklink to automatically figure out which of those stores has each individual
part for the cheapest. This would be very useful since comparing prices manually
takes a really long time.

  Hello,
In this suggestion I ask to implement a "search into own carts"

This would enable us:
- check if any item is present/not-present in any cart
- recheck how many are in, add up at any moment
- quicky locate bricks
- coordinate many carts to fullfill big orders
- recheck colors of same brick
- eliminate doubles
- etc..

The wantedlistsearch works great, I'm ok if you recycle that

I need this now, I'm struggling

I suggest an option where you can order the wanted list on "missing parts".

Yes, you can order on "have quantity", and so you already have the parts
with quantity 0 easily selected.

But it would be nice if you could easily order/group also the parts which are
partly present.

Kind regards,
Gert

Hi
You can already do that by selecting option "Hide Items if Have Qty is ≥
Want Qty". By selecting it, you'll have a list of parts that have lower
quantity as the one wanted, including 0 quantity.

You would also get no results for stores who ship to you. Kinda the point of
an online marketplace.

You wouldn't know until you try to check out. It's like sellers stoplisting
other sellers; you don't know until you try to send them a direct message
or place an order in their store.

Your public profile could not need to show your location and the system still
know and just show to the seller.

To be fair, BrickLink still offers some protection in that buyers have to actually
place an order before they can see the seller's exact address. Conversely,
sellers must actually receive an order before they can see the buyer's exact
address.

In fact, some non-paying buyers may actually be placing orders with the sole
intent to harvest seller data and no intent to pay whatsoever:
https://www.bricklink.com/feedback.asp?u=bb995213

But BrickLink profiles are visible to anyone who can connect to BrickLink's
servers, no order required. You don't even need to create a BrickLink account.

Now, knowing someone's country and state or province doesn't give
you their exact physical location, but it does make it easier to track them across
the web. So, for those who aren't comfortable with that level of sharing,
sky is suggesting that BrickLink add some sort of privacy option like many newer
websites have.

For example, BrickLink could add the option hide all location information from
unregistered users or to only share location information between users that have
open orders with each other.

In fact, some places may already have laws that require BrickLink to protect
personal data such as a user locations, but BrickLink isn't known for regulatory
compliance and knowing how things work around here, I don't expect such a
feature anytime soon.

To be honest if someone here is concerned about stalker problems as the OP suggests
then if anything that is much more likely to come about due to a transaction
already having taken place and a disgruntled buyer or seller not happy with the
way they were treated by which point address details are already exposed. Therefore
the concerns the OP is expressing seem extremely disproportionate to me and you
have to start asking the question why should the OP feel so concerned? Does the
OP plan on upsetting someone or ripping someone off either here or elsewhere?
and even if they do why should they think someone is going to go to the extreme
lengths of wanting to track them down?

In this technological age there is a risk with everything we do yet in order
for things to be able to work effectively we cannot mitigate against every minor
risk just as we can't always mitigate against the risk of Fire, flooding,
tornados or an absolute crazy person coming after us with the intention to kill!

There is some privacy in that you don't have your name displayed to unregistered
users. The user gets to choose their display name.

In some locations it is the opposite. Here, potential customers are meant to
be shown the name and address of a business before they place an order.

Hello, neighbor!

In all seriousness, I do understand what you mean. In my other online communities
(on Discord for example) where a person is from is not shared or generally offered
up in conversation. But, we are doing commerce here, so location is quite relevant.

Thanks,
~Jen

To add to this, BrickLink is also an older website (2000) and most stores are
run by hobby sellers and not big corporations. Amazon and other more modern ecommerce
websites don't always make it very clear where your package is coming from.
