What Lego color for such a special brick designation, can you envision?

  Hello!

I've encountered a lot with (test?) bricks, is there a market for these kind
of bricks?
If so, what is the value of these bricks. I've included some pictures.

Thanks in advance!

Yellow brick looks like OLO, not a test brick but a very rare Japanese lego brick
(not sure of value because these come up so seldomly!). Red may be a normal slotted
brick, not necessarily rare (but I can't tell what the markings underneath
are). Green is definitely worth a bit

I had not heard about OLO, so a quick google found https://www.brickarchive.org/categories/2x4-bricks/production/olo/

like on inventory, where it shows (1) a small number next to the writing in the
items preview page, how about if i have 1 of that item in my brickstore it should
show a small (1) next to the word inventory adjacent to the wanted list?

You can do that in the Stud.io dedicated forum here: https://forum.bricklink.com/

To be slightly more specific, in the parts subforum:

https://forum.bricklink.com/viewforum.php?f=6

after you have read the Parts FAQ at:

I'd like to see (knowing this will probably take some time!) the ability
for a wanted list to store multiple copies of the same model within the one wanted
list.

I have a bunch of rolling stock that are all copies of the same model. Rather
than having multiple wanted lists or a single wanted list with multiples of the
parts (e.g. 16 of a part for 4 copies of 4 parts each), it might be nicer to
manage as a bunch of copies of the same model within the wanted list.

This would still allow me to do "buy all" which would get all missing parts of
all copies in one go, but would allow me also to know when one copy is fully
ready to build even if I haven't got parts for *all* copies (so I can start
building that one while waiting for other orders to arrive).

Best regards,
-J

Perhaps I am not understanding, but using the "Quantity" button at the top of
the page, you can multiply a wanted list by a constant factor. That way, you
can maintain a single wanted list for multiple copies of an item. I often do
this when I am building multiple copies of the same MOC.

I assume you're already aware, but you can run Buy All on multiple lists
- select it from one list, then on the results page check the others lists you
want and hit Apply to update the results.

To me, it seems that what you're suggesting would be way too niche to be
a worthwhile use of BL's limited development resource.

That works OK for me if your lists are significantly different. What I've
encountered with that mechanism trying to buy multiple copies of the one model
in the same purchase was that it didn't combine well and ended up only giving
me parts-to-purchase-count for one model, not all of them.

Now, that was a while ago when I used it and maybe it was broken at the time
I used it, but what I've done since is to buy one and then simply increase
the amounts in the cart based on the other lists and what's available and
needed... but it's a rather manual process that I'd prefer to avoid.

Is there a setting that will auto-pay my monthly invoice when it is issued?

As there is no BL message that accompanies it and I don't get a notification
in the page header, the only way I ever see them is if I happen to open whatever
page it is that finally shows the payment due notification. It's not a page
I open often - the profile maybe? I stumbled upon it this morning only to realize
I hadn't paid my April fees.

Why can't I set it to auto charge my Paypal account or credit card upon receipt
of the invoice? Or is there a way to do this? Or maybe at least to get a message
in BL messages when an invoice is issued so I get a flag on the header?

Not currently, but you could always pre-pay for a while. Figure your annual sales
charges and pay that much at the first billing. Should be running on credit until
end of the year.

You receive an e-mail.

You can set up your favorite Calendar app (Thunderbird here).

Or program your wife to take care of it

I get an email every month when I have fees do with the subject "Your Bricklink
Invoice for ". Additionally when you go to your "My Store", there
is a big banner that shows up. Maybe you have a filter the is blocking the emails?

This?

YES but in settings https://www.bricklink.com/v2/settings/pref_settings.page

so we can assign a default size for ALL wantedlists we open everyday

No, I do not agree.

What you describe below can be set on Paid payment status. If an order is PAID
you cannot add to it. Because we do this on Order status now, does not mean it
is the right way.

It is not that you cannot add to the order because the seller already packed
it, you cannot add to the order because the order is Paid for. (therefore the
block should be on payment status, not order status)

In a similar way, if you did not pay for the order, and payment status is pending,
but seller already Packed your order, you also cannot add to it. But now the
block is on the Order status.

In my opinion these are 2 different situations, where Bricklink now "misuses"
the order status for a payment status change.

In Suggestions, 1001bricks writes:

I as a seller find it extremly anoying that my order status is set to Paid, and
that I cannot set it to Pending or processing without switching all kind of order
status around.

Payment and Order status are 2 different things.

Yes but no...

If an Order is Paid it must be automatically Packed (or such closed status),
so the buyer cannot add to it, and the seller cannot remove items for example.

But if FULLY refunded, it should retrieve either Pending or such.

In short, payment and order status are linked somewhere.
It's more or less how it works right now.
