  Good evening,

very rarely there are differences about how much a shipping could cost, especially
when stores use the TBT quote function. Right now I had the problem, communication
was not possible at all, no response.

Why shouldn´t a byer have the option to chancel an order, right after he received
a shipping calculation he is not ready to pay? No one has to be upset, all sorted.
After the chancellation no review is needed as well IMHO. Negative review will
result in a negitve one from the other part as well.

Or even the next step: Every store has to offer at least some fixed shipment
calculations for the countries they ship to. Quotes should only be an extra option.

Just my 2 cents. I feel sad about such an outcome.

Unexpected high shipping fee is a valid buyer reason for cancelation. https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=79

To be specific. Unexpected high shipping fee is not one of the reasons listed.
"Shipping fee too high" is not the same thing. Too high according to what? You
might think it's too high but the Postal service does not.
Point is, the wording should be changed.

If the Seller provided a shipping fee that was too high (not clearly stated in
T&C), then it's higher compared to what's stated in the T&C of the store.

  Hello,

When filtering seller location to European Union, UK is still visable.

Here in Sweden there is an extra fee for orders from countries outside EU, and
that fee applies for orders from UK. The fee is a minimum of 75 SEK and up to
125 SEK depending on the cost of the order.

Luckily I did look this up before making any order from UK, but it might be good
to fix the filtering system and remove UK from the EU list.

Have a good day!

I've moved this to Suggestions.

I personally think it would be a great idea to have a little green dot next to
your name if a member is currently active. As a seller , this would help with
messaging and such . and as a buyer it would mean invoicing could be done much
faster. Maybe even a last logged in date. What do you guys think?

Correction for my other post.
It was unintentionally removed with the new TOS

  Hello everyone,

Today we have graduated our Catalog Associate BricksThatStick to the Catalog
Admin position! This will give him privileges on both sides of the catalog system
(catalog and inventories) and he is now the second member of our team to reach
this status.

Please join me in congratulating him on this achievement.

Congratulations.

When listing catalogue items by number, the list appears by color, but the colors
appear in no discernable order. It would save a lot of searching time if they
appeared in alphabetical order, the same as they do in inventories. Is this possible?

Maybe it's here: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogOptions.asp?viewFrom=P

Hello, My name is Praise. I have tried to buy LEGOs through BRICKLINK,
but it is so difficult and tedious because unlike many other sites with CARTS,
such as:
-Amazon
-Ebay
-Wish
etc.....
BRICKLINK makes it to where you have to buy from each seller separately
instead of a BUY BUTTON like other online stores that allows you to enter
your payment information only once, even if you buy from all around the world.

Also, there needs to be a confirmation from the seller after shipping and handling
(S&H) have been added so you're not hit with a crazy price (such as $13.25
for a 80 cent piece) that forces you to pay a higher amount than the buyer "bargained"
for.

Unfortunately my small hobby store can't be compared to Amazon, Ebay or Wish.
I would Wish it was.😉

Try to learn the Wantlist features to buy from the fewest stores possible to
save on shipping costs.
Always read the store Terms and Splash for shipping costs.
You cou can move to the next store if it doesn't have clear shipping costs
or use the Request a Quote feature.

You'll discover how easy it can be to buy from sellers on a smaller platform
as Bricklink instead of a multi billion Amazon, Ebay or Wish.

care? Depending on who you are and when you post, you can sometimes get away

I see that the thread in the second link I posted still remains unmoderated.

Actually it was moderated: https://www.bricklink.com/message.asp?ID=1225917

(snipped) BRICKLINK???!!! I just got an email with 11 figs that they just deleted
from my inventory, and some were listed as used and they were full figs with
things like "some yellowing in torso."! Someone want to tell me what is going
on please??? Did this happen just because I posted this question today?

I will not list figs as parts because FIG PARTS RARELY SELL!!!

WE NEED TO DEFINE MINIFIGS AS COMPLETE, OR INCOMPLETE LIKE SETS!

Is the community of people who helped build Bricklink, like myself, now pushed
aside and not heard in order to make OUR site better? Or is it now fully TLG
property and we have no say?

So I find that each time I listed a minifig that was brand new, but missing a
part like an accessory that was in the picture of the fig, like a shoulder piece
or cape, BL in the next day or so would remove it. We can't list figs as
new but incomplete or complete because BL never was set up like that. So BL
deleted my fig post saying it was against the rules but of course no explanation.
Do we really have to list a brand new fig as used, or as parts when it's
missing something like a cape or skirt???

When it gets deleted so quickly, does that mean that another member reported
it quickly to admins to get it removed? Someone said it's the new BL algorithm
that did it automatically, but that can't be true because I see other sellers
figs that are missing parts but still listed as new. So am I being singled out
by someone following me and reporting anything I do just to be a jerk?

Thanks in advance.
