I only am able to become a seller if I had bought once. (what if I buy just a
little to start )
Other solution : look at my minifigs physicaly one by one to search a part, hair,
face, legs or body ; it is a bit longer but I only own 160 complete minifgs,
it is doable.

I’m not sure the search in your seller Inventory goes into the minifigs or sets’
inventories anyway.
You’d need to part them out first. (So, have them twice: once as a whole item,
and once as parts.)
Better use a third-party tool like BrickStore (application) or Rebrickable (website).
You may have to do it that way too (= have them twice) but at least it’s automatized
and, sadly, simpler than BL.
BrickStore can direclty import from/export to yor BL Wanted Lists. (Or you can
download and upload yourself if you don’t want to give it your password.)
Rebrickable should be able to do it too.
You too

| Thanks Sylvain, Wil and Mitch for your answers
export as xml works ; unfortunately it does not write the parts but only the
"name" of the whole figurine.
I would like to search for exemple part 970c105pb001 and the search engine will
answer "yes, you have 970c105pb001, it is in your minifig coltlbm15".
Become a seller is a good option to do that, but I want to search in my own collection
before buying parts probably missing.

Hi, if you use the search box at the top of the page, the drop down box on the
left that usually has All items shown as a default, if you click the down arrow
and second from the bottom it says store inventory, you can search your own inventory
using a part number.
Hope that helps
|
Unfortunately, that searches your Store inventory, when you’re a seller, not
the new, unfinished feature called “My Collection”

There's no search box. You can try searching by Control + F or export the
parts collection to XML.

| | If it's going to keep you up at night, tell the buyer you want the set back
for a full refund. Send him a shipping label, tell him to pack it back into
the box he got it in, and drop it off at a post office. I think it'll be
cheaper to do that then buy all the parts on bricklink and send them onto to
him.

Why is every one so obsessed with the sustainability of LEGO all the sudden?

Typical media.

You misunderstand, WildBricks.
I hadn't considered your interview when stating "drawing from disgruntlement
among aftermarket sellers in lieu of digging deeper" but rather the journalist's
far too obvious other sources.
As I said; I appreciated your inputs

Oh, no, total misunderstanding. I wasn't inferring anything. I was more commenting
along the same lines. Over an hour's worth of interview questions and that
was the take-away from it. I started out in journalism so I should know better.
(But I have to keep reminding myself that public radio of 25+ years ago is not
the same as modern journalism.)

and was pretty deep. We covered a LOT of material and questions. I guess I shouldn't

was my typical cynical and honest self. There was plenty of praise and accolades
that was edited out. Not upset, just what it is.

Hard hitting, interesting production.
I appreciated your responses in particular, as well as admire both your attitude
of investment and drive. Impressive
Overall, an interesting bit of journalism nonetheless. Though in keeping with
today’s journalism, fundamentally flawed premise, as usual.
Especially the approach TLG had/has to BrickLink and the overall secondary market
of their product, is where understanding breaks down completely. But the usual
lackadaisical approach inevitably kicks-in, drawing from disgruntlement among
aftermarket sellers in lieu of digging deeper. That would of course take more
time and effort
Thanks for sharing, and very impressive store layout, btw.

| Adam (AntBandit) is one of my local AFOLs and is a very active member of PeachLUG.
He reached out to me last year and asked if he could do a behind the scenes
tour. I wasn't about to turn that down. He does work for TLG and has been
doing stop motion LEGO production for years. Great guy who does amazing video
work.

Wow! Hadn't seen that either, thanks.
Impressive promotional skills they have! Kinda wanna partner with them, now

Have you experienced a rise in sales lately?
I guess that FT finally figured out that LEGO is more than just bits of plastic
