These House Rules clarify what is and isn’t allowed in the BrickLink community. By sharing these, we hope you'll play your part in making BrickLink's communities awesome for everyone!
These House Rules are an abbreviated, easier-to-read version of the BrickLink Rules of Conduct.

These rules apply to all areas of the BrickLink site, including the Forum, Studio Forum, Studio Gallery comments, BrickLink Designer Program comments, and social media channels where we can moderate, including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
| | Respect Others |
- Be respectful and constructive. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Don't post anything threatening, abusive, harassing, vulgar, obscene, or anything untrue about someone with intent to harm their reputation. Intimidation, stalking, threats, or unwelcome attention are not allowed. This rule applies equally to comments about other users, moderators, and BrickLink staff.
- Stay on topic. Keep discussions focused on LEGO® sets or bricks and BrickLink. Our forums and comment sections are great places to share insights, ask questions, and connect with the community. While friendly conversations are welcome, please keep contributions meaningful and on topic. Avoid repeatedly bringing up the same issue in unrelated conversations, as this can detract from constructive dialogues.
- Don't impersonate. Please represent yourself honestly and don’t impersonate others, including BrickLink staff, moderators, or fellow members. Authenticity keeps our community genuine and welcoming.

Watch your language. Keep it family friendly. Don’t use profanity, including abbreviations, acronyms, creative misspellings, or emojis depicting inappropriate words or topics.
No inappropriate content. Don't post content related to alcohol, drugs, tobacco, politics, religion, sex, violence, or anything that might shock or offend others.
No discriminatory content. Content that targets members of any racial, ethnic, religious, or other cultural group is strictly prohibited. This includes hate speech and content intended to intimidate or demean other people.
Avoid unfounded accusations. Don't make untrue or unfounded statements about others that could harm them or BrickLink, including unverified accusations about scams or similar activities.
Respect privacy. Never share someone else's personal information, including email addresses, physical addresses, or phone numbers. Don't share your contact details in public forums.
No illegal or harmful content. Don't post anything unlawful, harmful, or objectionable. This includes any illegal content, including references to child sexual exploitation material, pro-terror material, crime and violence material, prohibited drug material, any criminal offenses involving the health or safety of a person, or any content that relates to activities that don’t comply with local laws.

No off-site sales. You may not offer items for sale that aren’t listed in your BrickLink store.
Don't promote competitors. Don't actively promote or link to competitor websites, including third-party websites offering items that can be sold on BrickLink.
Respect intellectual property and give credit where it is due. It is your responsibility to obtain permission for any material, designs, or images you post that is not your own. Please include copyright notices where appropriate, ask for creator information where unknown, and be prepared to include credits if they are found after you post. Any content which infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary rights will be removed.
Don't advertise or promote. Our platforms aren't for advertising any product or service sold outside of BrickLink, campaigning, or promoting personal causes. Unsolicited advertising, promotional materials, junk mail, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes, cryptocurrencies, NFTs, or other similar activities are prohibited.
No posting for banned users. Please don't post messages on behalf of currently banned users or otherwise help circumvent their ban.

Our moderators work to maintain these rules on BrickLink and our social media channels. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access for those who repeatedly break these rules.
