Early versions of the instructions show a black 47296 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector 2 x 5 with 2 Ball Joint Sockets, Open Sides being used instead of a black 50898 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector 2 x 7 with 2 Ball Joint Sockets, Rounded Ends. It is unclear whether part 47296 was present in early copies of the set or whether this was simply a mistake in the instructions.
