Note:

Redesigned during production.

There are at least 2 different versions of instructions for this set. The differences for the second version are indicated in this inventory in the Alternate Items section with Match ID 99.

Quick overview of redesign: In the cockpit module various parts are added to strengthen the build. In the track assembly two 12 axles are replaced by four long black pins, enabling the tracks on each side to move independently from each other.

There are numerical errors in the parts lists in the set instructions for both versions. The early version of instructions incorrectly lists only 1 pair of minifigure legs, but 2 are included. It also lists 13 of part 32291 Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular Double in dark bluish gray, but only 12 were included.

The later version of set instructions incorrectly lists 1 of part 6558 Technic, Pin 3L with Friction Ridges Lengthwise in black, but 18 were included.

Part 32523 Technic, Liftarm 1 x 3 Thick in dark bluish gray has also been found in dark gray in this set. Part 6538b Technic, Axle Connector 2L (Ridged with x Hole x Orientation) in black has also been found in this set as part 6538c in black.
