| | I grew up building the toys I wanted out of LEGO long before I ever owned them — Voltron, Megazords, you name it. My very first set was the humble Basic Building Set 720, and from there I dove headfirst into the worlds of Castle, Space, Pirates, and Racers. Those bricks were my imagination’s fuel.
Fast‑forward a few decades and the collection has only grown — a lot. Over the last 15 years, I’ve gathered Marvel sets, Ideas sets, and Modular Buildings, while the rest of the family has explored galaxies and realms of their own: Star Wars, Minecraft, Elves, Friends, Mario, and more.
Eventually we hit that classic LEGO‑collector crossroads:
Buy a bigger house… or start letting go of the sets we no longer treasure as much.
