About Me Pages: About Bricklahoma (532)
I have been a LEGO® fan since my 7th birthday in 1977 when I got my first set the Fire Rescue Ship 775. That same birthday I got Luke's Landspeeder by Kenner® since Star Wars A New Hope had just been released a few months earlier. Needless to say it was a great birthday and I collected both themes until my teenage years when skateboarding, guitars, and cars became more important than toys. Luckily I had boxed up most of my collections where they sat untouched for 30+ years

Fast forward to today and I am the father to triplets; 2 girls and a boy. In the summer of 2019 a family friend gave us 2 trash bags full of Lego® for our kids. Once we dumped them on the floor, I immediately saw familiar parts and minifigs to Star Wars sets like the AT-AT, an X-Wing, Imperial Star Destroyer, some TIE Fighters...and Luke's Landspeeder! My kids and I started searching Bricklink, Brick Owl, and Rebrickable trying to organize the sets, buy missing parts, and rebuild everything. We now have over 150 sets, of which 90 are Star Wars themed.

We launched Bricklahoma in February of 2020 as a way to finally organize thousands of parts during the pandemic lockdown. Bricklahoma is also a way of teaching my kids basic business skills they will need in life: customer service, budgeting, inventory, and profit/loss. I hope every brick we ship out makes it into some fantastic MOC, or helps complete a set that brings back great memories.
