Im Dave, a US Navy fighter pilot who still loves Legos. I grew up playing with them as a kid and think they had a profound affect on my development. I did mostly classic space growing up in the 80s, but also liked the original Castle theme a little bit.
I am really excited about the Star Wars theme currently, and also the Alien Conquest since those have the same color scheme as classic space and the design seems to be similar. I think Lego went a little overboard with some of the themes of the past and wish they would go back to the same type of Space / Castle / Town type sets instead of all the movie type themes.
I havent found anything that matches the quality of Lego and thats what makes me so excited about it today, after all these years! Happy building!
