| | Hi, I'm a mid-forties aircraft engineer, married to a fellow AE, and with two boys aged 10 and 12. I played with Lego as a child, often making little glass-bottomed boats out of windows and floating them in puddles! Oh, how Lego and I have developed. I discovered Brick Link a little over two years ago and I think I'll have to take a second mortgage out on the house to pay for my habit. We LOVE Lego here and I feel having children is an excuse for me to indulge in my hobby. Yes, blame it on the kids!! My favs are Space, Exoforce and Castle. My older boy loves City and Technic and the youngest, Bionicles and Exoforce. My husband? He knows when to stay out of the way! So we have quite a mixture on the boys' bedroom floor. I've found ALL the people I've dealt with on BL to be honest, open and a great bunch of people- my Lego Family. I hope to post some of my boys' creations on brickshelf or the like, sometime. My purchases on BL are made so I can off-set the cost of the stuff I want to keep by selling other stuff here in New Zealand. But, like all good stories, when I get a parcel, I want to keep it ALL!! I collect poly-bagged sets, so feel free to contact me if you have something you think I may be interested in adding to my collection. Other interests are Rudolf Steiner and Anthroposophy. We have a Biodynamically(organic) managed and certified small block farm. My husband now owns and runs an architectural steel fabrication business, making wrought iron and stainless steel gates, balustrades etc. Thanks for reading and who knows, we may meet on BL soon?
