LocalAreaRPh and Family

I am an AFOL and parent a 9 year-old Master Builder LEGO enthusiast and 6 year-old recent entrant into "big kid" bricks. They enjoy building the sets as well as experimenting with LEGO and Duplo personal creations. Our favorite types of sets are Nexo Knights (my son), Disney Princesses (my daughter), Star Wars (me!), and Super Heroes, esp. Marvel (all of us!). We also like to use City sets and lots of random pieces to round out our LEGO world.

As an AFOL I enjoy just about anything with which I can build. I've been a fan of Lego since childhood and could not wait until my son was old enough to begin enjoying LEGOs with me. I couldn't wait until he was five so I began buying sets when he turned three and before I knew it I was just the supervising "foreman"and my son was the "instruction" worker putting together all the blocks.

A couple of years ago we began using this site to acquire individual parts and minifigs from sets that don't make it into the budget (sadly we can't buy them all). I am very impressed the community, the listings and information, and the responsive store owners on BrickLink and look forward to using and contributing to it more.
