During the great lockdown of 2020 Deon started The Blockery as a hobby along with his growing collection of Speed Champions. There was a lot of learning with BL, and we made some mistakes but quickly learned how things work in the world of Bricklink South Africa. We focused on changing our stock, packaging practices, and how to manage oddities that pop up in inventory or those odd pieces that disappear. Deon manages stock input, invoicing and shipping. His favorite collections are pirate ships and Speed Champions. Angelina manages stock organisation with stock over 150k+ and works on quality control when packing. Her favorite collections are Star Wars and Castle sets.
Deon work's in IT and Angelina works as a professional development coach, we have a very active pre-schooler (who loves LEGO), and then we tend to The Blockery in the evenings and weekends.
We strive to provide an assortment of quality bricks to those passionate about LEGO in SA. We’ve joined CapeLUG and make our displays for exhibitions. The community of LEGO is an amazing group of people with a passion for creativity and one we are thankful to be a part of.
