| | I am an early 40's Australian guy who got hooked on the model team series of the 80' - 90's with my first set being the 5580 Highway Rig when I was 11 year's old. Over following birthdays and Christmases, I and ended up with 6 of the kits from new. Since then I have bought the other 9 kits in the series along with a double of 9 of them so far. Every kit had instructions for 2 models, this being the reason for the doubles. I have them all on display, all 15 main builds and 9 of the secondary builds. I don't really have a major interest in modern sets as i like the early kits that were made up of generic pieces, decals being the biggest modification most of the time. I hope to find the other 6 doubles in the near future and as I have them on display, i have no need for the original box or instructions, so long as all the pieces are there, preferably with all the decals intact. I do have quite a few reproduction sticker sets if need be but genuine would be better! I am also keen to buy any model specific pieces to build modified sets to go along with the originals. I introduced my son and daughter to Lego at a very early age but my daughter never got interested. My son now 19 still enjoys Lego. | | This page has been viewed 10 times. |
